OUR MISSION is to create an educational opportunity for the youth of today and tomorrow to better understand and appreciate the roots of our local history.
The Museum is OPEN throughout the Hemlock Fair and at other times by appointment for school field trips and other interested groups.

Harness Horse Racing at The Fair
Harness Racing has been a part of the Hemlock Fair since 1857. Hear the full story of racing at the Fair, including famous driver Benny "The Whip" Webster who retired with 4,378 wins and over $43 millions dollars in purses! Benny's first win came at the age of 16 at the Hemlock Fair!
Tools of Days Gone By
Tools big and small...many that you may not recognize. Hey Kids! Find the secret tool and correctly identify its use and you'll get a free ice cream cone!
Ride Back in Time
All types of early modes of transportation including a 1900 Horseless Carriage Automobile, a Railroad "Speeder Car," and an early sleigh "Sold in Hemlock, NY."
A full kitchen with a porcelain stove and an original "ice box" which got its cooling power from ice harvested from Conesus Lake. Can't you just smell the home-made bread and taste the ginger cookies?
