General Admission Policies
Paid admission tickets include parking, all attractions and events, midway rides and Grandstand events. Parking is always FREE! ALL Fairgoers, adults and youth above the age of 3 years, will require an admission ticket.

Advance Sale Tickets available from many of our local business partners. You can purchase your discounted tickets until the Monday before the Fair at the following locations
You can also purchase reduced rate tickets at the Fair office every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 5pm-7:30pm and the weekend before the Fair begins!
Ride Policy
Rides and Midway open at 2 pm each day, except Tuesday July 21st when rides will open at 4pm
Admission tickets include the unlimited use of all rides, providing the rider meets the following conditions:
- All fairgoers wanting to ride must wear a wristband obtained from the ride vendor booth located at the Main Entrance to the Fair (Gate 5). You must show your daily or weekly ticket at this booth in order to obtain a ride wristband.
- Minimum ride height requirements established by NY State and the ride manufacturers are:
- 36 inches for all child rides
- 42 to 55 inches for the larger rides, depending on the ride requirements
- If your 3-year-old is 36″ or taller, you MUST purchase a youth ticket to allow them to ride the rides
Animals on Fairgrounds
Service animals are permitted per ADA regulations. ALL animals (cattle, dogs, horses, ferrets, sheep, cats, deer, goats llamas, monkeys, swine & miscellaneous ruminants) that are brought on the fairgrounds MUST have proof of current rabies vaccination a minimum of 14 days prior to the start of the Fair. Prohibited Items
Out of concern for the safety of all fairgoers, the Hemlock Fair does not allow coolers, firearms, or drugs on the fairgrounds. Fairgoers found in possession of these items will be asked to leave the fairgrounds. Backpacks are subject to search. SERVICE ANIMALS ONLY, NO PETS ALLOWED.
